  • Doesn't represent the 90's and is an insult

    By Jdaddy212
I don't know if any of these reviewers were actually born before the 90's to know what 90's music was. There is one song on here that was a 90's hit and represented a beautiful decade of Alt rock and that was the Smashing Pumpkins song. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Live, The Offspring, Alice in Chains, Bush, Soundgarden, No Doubt, Green Day, Sublime, and Red Hot Chili Peppers and more are absent and THESE bands made 90's music so great and defined this tremendous decade. To leave out Nirvana and Alice in Chains is an insult. I know 90's music and grew up on it and I don't care what anybody says because I lived it and I still do. This album is so wrong! One star.

The first song is NUMBER 6??? WHAT. Whoops, 7
  • Epic

    By Killjoy412
LOL... Epic is from '89!!! I was in the 8th grade. MTV was on and I was watching an "Another Bad Creation" video... And, then Epic came on and blew my mind. Then "Groove is in the Heart" came on, and I became a huge Bootsie Collins style junkie. For the price... It's pretty good. But, not at amazing. (PRICE IS A STEAL!)

half these songs I already have so it's probably not worth it for me to buy this but if you are looking for an album that depicts the alternative punk rock feel of the 90's this is perfect
  • Epic(Song) Though it is epic

    By Mattbrackel
I'm pretty sure that song is from 1989
  • For what it is... it's great.

I would never make a compilation CD with Nirvana. This is comprised of 60% (or more) one hit wonders. I think it would insult Nirvana to put them in here. That being said, I rememebr every time I turned on the radio, one of these songs was playing. I would have to suggest, even though I didn't like teh song at taht time - Banditos by the refreshments would have fit in here better than Faith No More in my opinion. Love FNM but the don't seem to fit here.
  • Not my '90s.....

    By a2z95
Because I'm an avid 90's fan, of course I love this compilation, (especially Creep and Sex and Candy!) but where is Nirvana? I mean, I guess they're not too special...all they did was sorta, you know, define the 90's. ...
  • Here's the thing...

See, I would buy this, except I have all the songs here except for four of them... represents the 90's well, good if you don't have any of the music, but if you like the 90's and/or alternative then you probably have at least half of these.
