Literally my new favorite song!
Another one goes mainstream...
Their first album was amazing and so original. It will always be one of my all time favorite albums. I wasn’t holding my breath for another original like that, cause I’ve seen this over and over again- some production company or whatever gets a hold of the band and turns them mainstream. So disappointing...
Generic tunes; miss the originality and banjo
I found the first album from I Am They a few months ago and it has become one of my favorites. Was so looking forward to the second album, but, although the truth is encouraging and uplifting, the melodies and musical ease of the folksy banjo are sadly missing. I hum the melodies of the first album all day; not so with the second. It’s too generic. I’ll listen and it will probably grow on me, but overall disappointed
Miss the originality of the first album
Really miss the originality of the first album. It was unique - folksy, with a country twist, but with lyrics firmly based in faith. While the lyrics are still incredible on this album, the music itself just feels as mainstream as all the other CCM albums in production.
First, I had never heard of them until live opening for Casting Crowns, and was immediately hooked. I will use a lyric from Sidewalk Prophets, “A motley crew of misfits” who have banded together to follow Christ as their torch bearer on a mission to joyfully spread his Love, and the Word of God. The song, My feet are on the rock, will move you.
Gotta have this music
Thanks for all your hard work and all the travel to bring your music to us. May God bless all of you! Signed; the couple in Michigan who adores your music.
Uplifting and New
Great performance in Maine this weekend with Casting Crowns. Your message was inspiring, your music is fresh and I couldn’t wait to download your album. Prayers for increased success in His name. Thanks for sharing your stories with us.
I like it. Puts a bounce in your step while praising/worshipping. At the end of the day, it’s a blessing and the Lord’s name is glorified. That’s what music should be...
Great music and great band

Saw these guys at a casting crowns concert. They are really good and I can’t stop listening to their album. You won’t go wrong in buying this. Thanks for the great music .
Beautiful sound but...

Just a little disappointed that this album sounds very much like every other Christian music group. I LOVED I Am They’s first album because it had such a unique sound and the songs were each unique and powerful. This album shows they have great voices but their original sound isn’t there, and the lyrics to the songs just blend in with every other mainstream Christian group. Sorry guys
