Wow! This album is spectacular! I've loved this artist for years and have waited for too long to hear these songs. Such wisdom. Such insight. So proud. Please, John, lock yourself up in a hotel room for another week and do this again. Soon. We need all the music that's in you.

John Prine has created a masterpiece. Every song is a gem. A great songwriter at the top of his game. I do believe he's getting better with age if that's possible.

It’s so tantalizing and sweet you can taste the beauty. A real gem from a total master of his art.

Like a fine bottle of wine that ages well... The Trees need no Forgiveness here. John's the quasiesential singer sonwriter extraordinare. My favorites (& I love the whole album) but the stand outs are; Knocking On Your Screen Door (can you help me wth these pork'n'beans) Crazy Bone, Summer's end (will bring a tear to your eye) God Only Knows (no this is not a Beach Boys cover) & When I get to Heaven (that's wher ethe 9 mile cigarette, smoke 'em if you got 'em & get me a cocktail & rock n roll band, comes in...). It would be real hard not to like these clever earthy jaunts... Did we mention Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Sturgill Simpson & lordy knows who else is here. Thank You John.

1977 Greeley Colorado singing “ Sour Grapes “. Tire treads “O” Life later, there it is - that mind, that humility, that secret voice that one is certain they are the only one getting it. But Oh boy - all those touched, inspired, move to laughter and tears. Where did he get his mail? Thank you Mr. Prine.
  • Pure and honest - it takes genius to strip down

I am new to John Prine but I like his voice. There's a lot to be said for pure and honest songwriting. Less is very much more.

When it’s good it’s good and that’s what’s happening with this new album. Years of living, singing and song writing hits the nail on the head! Love his music
