  • Love the musicianship, but.....

Look, I am just gonna put this out there. Gary Cherone can't sing in key. He is ridiculously flat for more than half of this material. Before any of you say it's a product of singing the material for so long let me be your reality check. He has been this way from the very beginning. In the studio, he's great because they have time to fix his voice. Live, he just doesn't cut it, even on the Queen tribute.
  • Great Band.

I must be honest, I have not heard this album. However I was Lucky to see the tour in Baltimore Maryland @ The Baltimore Soundstage. It was GREAT. Between their first 3 Albums, I saw them 6 or 7 times. (Including the video shoot for Mutha! At the Legendary Hammerjacks in Baltimore Maryland) this band play just as good as any Progressive Band out there. If you like to Rock, Funk, Groove... This is Your Band. If you want to hear how great they are with Exceptional Harmonies, go to YouTube and do a search of Extreme Live at the Freddie Mercury doing the Queen Medley. Find the whole 15 minute set. If that doesn't show you How Talented They Are? Then go check out Justin Bieber or One Direction.
  • 2nd To None!

I've seen Extreme live twice and both times they sounded phenomenal! This album truly captures their talent, showmanship, and spontaneity in all it's splendor. Extreme is a severely underrated band and even more so as a live band. If you like great music by great musicians, buy this album!

There is no comparison to true talent. None of that manufactured crap here.
